Dr. Todd Kshonz, denture specialist offers full and partial denture relines to help patients enjoy a comfortable and secure fit. If your dentures are no longer fitting properly, a reline may be necessary to improve their comfort and stability.
A denture reline is a process that involves adding new material to the inside of a denture to improve its fit and feel. This is necessary when the shape of your mouth or gums has changed due to natural changes in the aging process, dental work, or other factors.
Full denture reline: A full denture reline is used for patients who wear complete dentures, which replace all of their natural teeth on the upper or lower jaw. We will take impressions of your mouth to create a custom-fit reline that will provide a secure and comfortable fit.
Partial denture reline: A partial denture reline is used for patients who wear partial dentures, which replace some of their natural teeth. We will take impressions of your mouth and your remaining natural teeth to create a custom-fit reline that will fit seamlessly with your natural teeth and gums.
If you are experiencing discomfort or difficulty with your dentures, we encourage you to contact us for a consultation. Dr. Todd Kshonz, the denture specialist will work with you to determine if a reline is necessary, and will provide a custom-fit solution to meet your needs.
